(see pictures) Hope you don't mind.Hello guys I'm looking for a solution to my code where I try to convert a CSV file into an XLSX file and all my data gets reduced into one column separated by. I created a repo to track changes, and to have a place to possibly expand on the functionality. Once again, thanks for the script, this saved me a ton of work.įor the changes, I added M15 and Vintage Masters, and fixed Alara Reborn, Alliances and Ice Age: 'VMA': 'Vintage Masters'Īfter I uploaded it to decked builders, I had some more errors, mainly do to little spelling errors. Now that we are on V4, they changed the codes for some sets, so I had to make some changes. It seems that the Decked Builder app exports the back of some 2-sided cards, which breaks the import at Deckbox. While it seems to work, its not ready for production use (whatever that may mean). I had some cards that were promotional, so I searched the csv for TD0, and linked the card to the original set. The result will be a new CSV file, named converted.csv, located in the current working directory. It works correctly now, please re-download it if you already got it. I just fixed a bug that caused a miscount of cards where you had both foil and non-foil versions. I'll do it if people really seem to care though. Fixing this is non-trivial since it's not a real set, I'd have to map the reprints back to the set they come from, which requires a card database, etc. The script doesn't support the PRM set, which is basically those fancy promo cards you get from MOPR.The script doesn't take into account foil cards (it'll treat them as normal ones) simply because the coll1 format in Decked Builder doesn't support foils, and I couldn't find documentation for the coll2 format anywhere. If you're on a Mac, you've already got it. You will need to have Python 2.7 installed to use this.Alternatively, feel free to send me free cards from older sets so I can test it out myself ) Please give it a try and let me know if you run into any problems – I've only tested it with newer-ish sets (because those are the only cards I've got). coll file in the same directory which you can just open in Decked Builder to get this: r/magicTCG is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast.īasically you invoke it like: $ python convert_mtgo.py /path/to/mtgo_collection.csvĪnd it'll create a.
